SAUCE will do this. Exim has no state (by default) for the various things,
so you'd be having to read the logs for events (like connection dropped
unexpectedly).

Unfortunately SAUCE isn't suitable, really, for anything but a tiny
installation, because of the large numbers of false positives, and
the greylisting of incoming mail.

It's status messages also incur the ire of some mail system admins (yes,
Matt, that means you ;-) who read their logs a little too closely.
