Hm, that's very uncomfortable to parse, when messages are spreaded
across multiple lines! I'd like to count mails from AND to a particular
user, identifyable by username (for local sending, via PHP e.g.) or any
of his domains (when sending via SMTP or receiving from someone else).
It would be fine if I could skip messages that are delivered locally, so
that don't go over the network. The log format seems not safely parsable
to me, I cannot find a clear syntax like with Apache. And I cannot find
mails that I sent to compare with them... Are mails that I send over my
mailserver not logged in the mainlog?
This is what I know by now about how to set the filter:
{date} {time} {msgid} <= <> U={username} P=local S={size}
{date} {time} {msgid} => {address} {...} T=remote_smtp {...}
{date} {time} {msgid} Completed
