Hello,
I am using
exim+exiscan (4.31) on a SuSE 9.0 Linux box with openssl-0.9.7b-133
(recent is 0.9.7e ? but SuSE seems
to patch it up all the time). The same box is running courier-imap. Both
have TLS (SSL) enabled and the
certificates are set up fine.
For some unknown reason though, I am getting an error on sending email.
The problem seems to have been discussed here (without answer?) and on
various sources (google), but I found
not a single hint on how to resolve or fix the problem.
The logfile entry is:
TLS error on connection from (admin.myworkpc.de) [99.99.99.99]:1938
(SSL_accept): error:1408F455:SSL routines:SSL3_GET_RECORD:decryption failed
or bad record mac
People have reported they came across this problem with Mozilla Mail, while
I use Eudora.
It was also mentioned that this is an openssl issue, since downgrading to
an older version
fixed the problem. However, I don't feel like downgrading (and getting
exploited), so another
working solution would be great.
Is there a solution yet ?
