I have the following errors in my messages log:

SIG_IGN but calls wait().

Workaround activated.
in the list archive this problem seems to be fixed since 4.14 but i have
4.32.
I have kernel 2.4.20 (redhats 2.4.20-28) unter redhat 9.0.
maybe the mysql "dead" connections i described yesterday are the aftereffect
of this under higher load?
