How critical is the timing in your test-suite? Could it be made
configureable? Or, could we create a tool that tries to find "good"
values for test-runs? I would volunteer for that.
But, if your test-suite is TOO much bound to a system, it could still be
used by a core-team, that tests releases before they're pushed out.
