rmail is part of the sendmail distribution, so is likely to depend on
features of sendmail that aren't supported by Exim. It looks like
sendmail's -p option is spelt -oMr by Exim. Unfortunately the sendmail
commnd line used by rmail is hardcoded, so the only way to fix the problem
is by pointing /etc/mailer.conf at a wrapper script that does appropriate
option translation.
Philip: perhaps Exim's command-line options should be adjusted for better
compatibility.
