Sorry, my bad again. Thanks to Alan, John, Andrew, and Edgar for
pointing out some issues/solutions.

The above log entry was just a guess. Since it was rejecting so early
in the session I had very little to go on - just the senders mail
address. I had the user mail the bounce message with all headers to my
yahoo account - should have done that before. His mail client is
configured correctly according to sbc instructions - outbond mail server
is mail.swbell.net. His account is of the form user@???, But the
sbc mta making the connection to our mta is mtaw4.prodigy.net.

I went ahead and disabled the ident check temporarily to see if the
number of sync errors goes down. We are currently getting 15k to 20k
sync errors each day. If that does not reduce the errors, then I will
disable the rDNS lookups to see what happens. I will also try to
capture an smtp conversation to see if it is a delay or just a 'pump &
dump' script.
