Your problem is with ClamAV, the directory you specified is the
directory that clamd scans emails in. From time to time this happens
because Clamd dies and when exim tries to hand the emails over for clamd
to scan it gets an error and so it logs the event in the man_log and
panic log. The popular concensus on this list has been to disable
scanning email becuase that will keep clamd from dieing all the time.
Clamd has had some problems as of late with scanning emails especially
with broken mime parts. So clamd fails and then exim fails because it
can't finish scanning the emails. A simple restart of the clamd fixes
everything however this fix is only temporary. and clamd will die. If
you search the achives of this list for CLAMAV you will find this
answer.
