Misspelled as they are, you'll get a very quick NXDOMAIN response
from your resolver. If you had spelled them correctly you would have
found they responded positively for *every* IP you queried for a
while after they shut down, effectively blackholing the world. I
guess it was their way of making sure eveyone using them would have
to update their configuration right away.

Indeed they are. Worse, their DNS servers were not responding when I
tried them just now, so you may be seeing timeout delays.
