Hi every one
I have been asked to create an autoreply facillity on exim
for my users to use when they are not going to be in the
office. (Out of office reply)
After 3 days of searching the internet, reading other
people's config files from the internet and trying some of
them on my Exim server I have not managed to get it
working.
I'm running Exim v.3.12 on Debian Linux
I have also tried using the .forward file.
My .forward file looks like this
manie@???, |/usr/bin/vacation -a
manie@???
(Note: All in 1 line)
This was what one of you suggested I do.
Now I'm getting this error on the Exim mainlog file:
D=userforward defer (-11): bad mode (0100777) for
/home/manie/.forward: 02 bit(s) unexpected
