Thats obviously not the case on all 2.4 kernels:-
statfs("/", {f_type="REISERFS_SUPER_MAGIC", f_bsize=4096,

f_files=4294967295, f_ffree=4294967295, f_fsid={0, 0},
f_namelen=255, f_frsize=0}) = 0
Thats with a Fedora stock 2.4.22 kernel. [So piles of modifications to
normal 2.4.22]
