When I address a message to user@domain, Exim effects a local delivery just
fine.
However, if I modify the address by adding a tag (i.e., user-tag@domain),
Exim rejects
the message saying that it is unable to deliver the message to the
addressee. What
I suspect is happening is that Exim is not recognizing the tag as such.
It's looking
for a user identified as user-tag and when it can't find it, it rejects the
message. It's
as if tagging is turned off. Do I need to do something to get it turned on?
Thanks for any input.
