[Exim] exim-process.info not being written

Hi List,

Having a very strange problem with Exim 4.30 running on a Red Hat 7.3 box.
Exim works 100% but the exim-process.info "file" does not appear anywhere on
the box, not in the spool directory and not even when you specify it in the
config file. As soon as you try to run exiwhat it will land up killing all
the exim processes and you will be required to restart exim. Have searched
on google and in exims faq but came up dry. Any advise or ideas would be
appreciate to get this fixed.
