try:
exim -bh <any-ipaddress>
which will give you a verbose run down of what is going on behind the scenes with your configuration. You can use any IP which is good for verifying that RBL lookups are working properly.

Hi List.
This is a seriously O.T question.
I need to create a basic diagram showing the process followed by exim when
mail is received.
Setup comprises of the following:
* exim 4.30, using SpamAssassin, patched with sa-exim-3.1 & exiscan
* system filter
* ClamAv
* Exim is configured to use RBL's and a custom blacklisting rule.
How would I illustrate the process?
Eg,
* After the mail is received, the FROM address is checked against
RBLs.
* Mail is checked for viruses.
* Checked against system filter
* Checked for banned attachments via demime.
* Checked if the domain is a local domain, if not, deny.
* Spamassassin is called and the message content is checked.
* If clean, message queued for delivery.
Is this the correct process flow?
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
