Subject: [Exim] double rejection entries in syslog
Hi all,

I've got a strange problem. Whenever my exim 4.30 (Fedora core 1
system) rejects a message for any reason, it logs that rejection
twice, for example:

Feb 18 01:17:08 monet exim[4849]: H=(d.emailercentral.com)
[216.109.86.29] F=<pricejester@???> rejected RCPT
<kevin@???>: Host is listed in bl.spamcop.net (Blocked -
see http://www.spamcop.net/bl.shtml?216.109.86.29)
Feb 18 01:17:08 monet exim[4849]: H=(d.emailercentral.com)
[216.109.86.29] F=<pricejester@???> rejected RCPT
<kevin@???>: Host is listed in bl.spamcop.net (Blocked -
see http://www.spamcop.net/bl.shtml?216.109.86.29)

or:

Feb 15 04:10:07 monet exim[30583]: H=(gregale.emea.mci.com)
[193.131.254.138] F=<> rejected RCPT <smith@???>: Unknown
user
Feb 15 04:10:07 monet exim[30583]: H=(gregale.emea.mci.com)
[193.131.254.138] F=<> rejected RCPT <smith@???>: Unknown
user

Any idea why this might be happening? I doubt if it's my syslog
configuration, otherwise everything would get logged twice. This only
happens with rejects. I got bitten by this when I was trying to
analyse the logs, and found that I had more rejects than I expected.
