Ahem, just for all of those that have forgotten, Any Exchange server that
is a part of a Windows 2000/2003 Active Driectory Domain, each and every
AD server (Domain Controler) has a copy of the Active Directory, ALL AD
servers can be queried for their information over ldap. Almost all
installations of any size have at least two AD servers, so therefor
you can set the "ldap_servers = ad.server.one : ad.server.two" and allways
have a failover ldap server to lookup information. I use ldap servers to
manage all of the user accounts I have; I would never have (and never have
had) less than two servers to query the information from. Exchange 5.5 is
a different story, but you should be able to make a 'backup' ldap server
for Exchange 5.5 (never tried though, so I could be wrong).
