I'm new to the list, I'm quite new as postmaster.
I tried with the exim doc but I didn't manage to understand.
I recently installed amavisd-new and clamav on my Debian Woody.
I followed the rules for exim configuration. In particular for
the ROUTERS CONFIGURATION section, I set
# from /usr/share/doc/amavisd-new/README.exim_v3.gz
amavis_router:
condition = "${if eq {$received_protocol}{scanned-ok} {0}{1}}"
driver = domainlist
#route_list = "*"
route_list = "* localhost byname"
transport = amavis
# verify must be set to false, to avoid troubles with receiver and/or
# sender verify
verify = false
(Note that both "route_list" are found in the amavisd-new doc)
For messages to addresses that are not in the "local_domains" I
see the following error in the log:
route_list="*"
Error in amavis_router router: no host(s) specified for *
route_list = "* localhost byname"
remote host address is the local host: augh.net
What's wrong (with amavisd-new advices?).
