Author: Mark Morley Date: To: exim-users Subject: [Exim] Exim truncating attachments?
We have a situation with one client where _some_ messages with
attachments seem to get truncated.
The messages are sent from a non-Exim server. They arrive
with no logged errors and get delivered, but only the first
3 kilobytes or so are there.
The Exim log file shows S=3145 as the received size of
the message when in fact it should have been over a meg.
This value changes and isn't always the same.
The message has the correct MIME headers to indicate an attachment,
but the data just stops and there is no final closing boundary
line.
It's as if the sending machine inserted a "\r\n.\r\n" smack
in the middle of the message while sending the DATA, causing
the message to be terminated early.
