Hi Nigel,

I don't know if this is a packaging issue, or an exim quirk, but I
wanted to tell you about an oddity I found with the ldap support. I was
previously using exim 4.22 from your RPMs, with exim and exim-ldap
packages installed. For 4.30 I noticed that there is no more separate
ldap package; exim-base is now supposed to include ldap, so I upgraded
to exim (4.30) and exim-base (4.30). When I tried to test my config,
exim complained that the ldapm lookup method was not supported, and I
should check the lookup types compiled into the system. I then installed
the exim-perl rpm, and tried another test, and all is working fine. So
it looks like either the readme is wrong, and you are packaging ldap
with the perl package, or else some other oddity is going on.

Regards,
Colin
