One way of thinking about these things is "horizontal = OR,
vertical = AND". Thus:
hosts = a : b : c
means "a OR b OR c", whereas the above example means "not authenticated
AND not sender verified". Similarly
deny dnslists = a : b : c
means "deny if host is on (black) list a OR list b OR list c", whereas
deny dnslists = a
dnslists = b
dnslists = c
means "deny if host is on list a AND list b AND list c.
