Hi all, I am a little confused as I thought when exim got a 550 error
when trying to deliver a message it treated it as a permanent error and
did not retry. So when I saw this message frozen in the queue and looked
in the message log I see.
2003-12-20 20:57:41 SMTP error from remote mailer after RCPT
TO:<YmSMypFP@???>: host horafeliz-com.mr.outblaze.com
[205.158.62.181]: 550 No thanks: Account unavailable. Possible Forgery.
This goes on for several days, latest is
2003-12-22 16:05:52 ymsmypfp@??? <YmSMypFP@???>
R=dnslookup T=remote_smtp: SMTP error from remote mailer after RCPT
TO:<YmSMypFP@???>: host horafeliz-com.mr.outblaze.com
[205.158.62.181]: 550 No thanks: Account unavailable. Possible Forgery.
*** Frozen (delivery error message)
So I figure I must have a config setting wrong but not sure what. I have
the retry rules set to 8 days thus
# Domain Error Retries
# ------ ----- -------
* * F,2h,15m; G,16h,2h,1.5; F,8d,8h
But I thought this only applies to temporary errors. Can somebody tell
me where I am being daft ?
