[Exim] AUTH problem with exim

Hi All,
I'm new here and with exim too.
I use it in my home workstation to send mail and I'd like to use also with
some ISP
that need Authentication (es. swissinfo.org). I need that due to not be
bounced from
MLs where I'm known with swissinfo account, but exim seems to get some problems,

this my exim.conf

remote_smtp:
    driver = smtp
    authenticate_hosts = mail.swissinfo.org

.....................
smarthost_swiss:
    driver = domainlist
    transport = remote_smtp
    route_list = "* \"${if match{$header_Reply-to:}{.*\\.swissinfo\\.org\\$}
\
    {mail.swissinfo.org} fail}\" bydns_a"

.....................
cram_md5:
    driver = cram_md5
    public_name = CRAM-MD5
    client_name = xxxxx
    client_secret = xxxxxxx

CRAM is supported!

It seems that exim try to autenticate as $localuser@$localdomain but it
doesn't work

How can i fix it?
