Subject: [Exim] problem with pipe
Hello,

I need some help. :)

I'm running a Linux 2.4 box with Exim 4.20, spamassassin 2.60 and the
latest Razor clients. I have a number of spamtraps within a domain I use
for other stuff as well and I have a number of domains that are no
longer in use and now serve as spamtraps as well. The server also runs
mailman, so I cannot change ownerships without consequences.

What I want is that I'm able to send all mail to those spamtraps to
Razor (and DCC eventualy). Therefor I have setup an alias to which all
e-mail that should be reported is sent to. That alias is a pipe to
razor-report.

So:

damogran:/etc/exim # grep razor-report aliases-rz.nl.eu.org
razor-report: "|/usr/bin/razor-check -d -home=/etc/mail/razor"

  damogran:/etc/exim # grep razor-report aliases-matchall
  sisterray.xs4all.nl:         [...], rejo@???, razor-report@???
  [...]

This results in the following log:

  2003-12-13 14:03:09 1AV9QK-0004ib-H0 <= squgxr@???
    H=mail135.swordfishmedia.biz [63.212.169.135] P=smtp S=10962

    Princess magazine and 3 magical gifts!" from

  2003-12-13 14:03:18 1AV9QU-0004ik-0i <= <> R=1AV9QK-0004ib-H0 U=mail
    P=local S=16578 T="Mail delivery failed: returning message to
    sender" from <> for squgxr@???

The bounce that gets send says something like "local delivery failed".

This is obviously not what I want. Normally I would expect a permission
problem. Hoewever, when I'm user "mail" and run razor-report, there is
no problem.

Where do I start fixing this?
