Actually, it would most likely make it harder to detect spam since the
spammers would have to do things the normal mail anti-spam servers can't
detect.
Don't think this will happen though...
Many sites can't afford to do this type of checking and/or don't have
anyone in a position to maintain such a feature.
Most of the anti-spam techniques are not automatic, they require
intervention to tweak and adjust as spam does.
Imagine the amount of time it takes to manage an RBL...
