     This has been thought of before and implemented several times as others
have answered.


     What I'd much rather see is a way to keep track of how good or bad
servers which contact me directly are and, based on past first-hand
experience, be able to alter future responses.  IE, if certain servers keep
sending me spam or viruses, they get worse and worse service from me until
they're just rejected or teergrubed at connect.  Conversely if a server sends
me lots of ham they get preferencial treatment.
