[Exim] 4.30: why are ALL my verifies FAILING...?

I just upgraded to 4.30+exiscan-acl-4.30-13, and all my verifies are failing
for reasons I can't fathom:

13:13:46 15064 ler in "postmaster"? no (end of list)
13:13:46 15064 accept: condition test failed
13:13:46 15064 processing "require"
13:13:46 15064 check verify = sender

I had to turn off all the verifies of both sender and recepient.

This worked in 4.24.
