Here's some more useful log entries:
main.log.1:2003-11-23 02:26:57 1ANoe0-0005Ql-HJ failed to expand
"${lookup mysql{SELECT value FROM userpref WHERE
preference='whitelist_from' AND value rlike
'${quote_mysql:${sender_address}}' } {$sender_address}}" while
checking a list: lookup of "SELECT value FROM userpref WHERE
preference='whitelist_from' AND value rlike '' " gave DEFER: MYSQL:
query failed: Got error 'empty (sub)expression' from regexp
Here, the question is how did sender_address end up blank? Isn't
sender_address the value given at the "mail from" stage, and doesn't
exim refuse to continue beyond that stage without a value?
