This is the directory which contains the above files.

[root@server1 ~]# ls -l /var/exim/mailcontrol/scanner/ | grep pdh
drwxr-xr-x    2 exim     exim         4096 Nov 17 09:39 pdh


The curious thing is that the problem is intermittent.
There is a cron job which periodically renames spambucket
to spambucket.prev and starts a new spambucket, but this
runs fortnightly and the problem occurs daily.
