Correct; as I said my original message in the Debian bug tracking
system, on our servers where Exim is linked with OpenSSL, everything
works. It's only in the Debian package, where GNUTLS is used, that
things fail.

I don't know if this is an exim bug or a GNUTLS bug, but since the buggy
behavior is appearing in Exim, that's where I'm starting.
