[Exim] Problem with rewrite rules

Hi !

we are using Exim, and have problems with rewrite rules:

Be this from field:
albert schmoll @ trucmuche.be (dédé) <aschmoll@???>

With this rule:

*@trucmuche.be $1@??? Eh

This will work only if there is either an @ or an accentuated letter (éàùë
etc...) but not both of them.

Is there something we can do about it ?
