and thanks to everybody who gave me a hint about the problem.
I am trying to fix the primary MX as well, but after adding
the above deny local_parts line to exim.conf to my acl, I now receive
a "550 Administrative prohibition" even for domains that are included in
/etc/secondarymx or local.
I added that line as the first rule in check_recipient in exim.conf.
