Guessing, I was on crack again, at the time I wrote it...

And you are right, nothing would break for me...

BAH... Thoughtful developers... you and your ilk, really impress me.
Maybe I should just shut up now...

BTW, I ended up updating the OpenSSL(to 0.9.7c) on the machine I was
having the Mail problems with... Re-Compiled Exim... she-bang! Worked
like a race horse... unfroze my messages... all done.
