Anyway, I am not sure dsearch existed in Exim-3.36 but if you could
search the archives for "dsearch;/" you will end up with several example
of handling virtual domains.

One big question for Debian users? If one ignores the port system (apt-*)
and compiles these things manually (yes, I know sometimes you have to
manually specify where some libs are found), what would be the extent to
which the system is dis-organized as far as Debian packages policy is
concerned?
I know this is OT but I am curious because I see so many Debian users
stuck with Exim-3.x

And to you Debian Users - IIRC, there is a good guy in this list who
maintains some ports/packages/rpms (whatever you call them) that can
help. I think I've seen this, so take courage and update to Exim-4.
