that i can't follow now, but - why do you do autoreplies with filter?
you can pretty darn fine hammer this together in a plain router, too,
using the autoreply transport, and putting some extra checks here and
there (along the lines of what "personal" is in filter language),
i find that approach somewhat more convenient.
