Subject: [Exim] Doubts about the /var/spool/exim/input dir
Hi everybody, got some doubts about the correct operation of exim. But first
I'm running the server under devian "woody" the exim package is 3.35 shuld
patched and all the stuff, the server usually transfer above 200Mb of mail
a day. The problem is that some of the mail is stuck in the
/var/spool/exim/input dir some messages are up to 76 days old while most of
them are above 40 days. Those messages are not all frozen some are active
and have strange origin address or even empty ones. Here are some examples:

47d  7.0K 19tfdn-0002cs-00 <herp-photography-bounces@???>
47d   99K 19tgNX-0003xY-00 <>
          PeterB.Nerenst@???
47d  2.7K 19tgRT-0003yl-00
<sentto-8005693-3750-1062392174-mpereira=fcien.edu.uy@???>

The questions are preaty simple, is this a misconfiguration error, shuldnt
the mailer discart those mails after 4 days, is this the normal "way to be"
and i shuld delete the files 1 or more month old.

Thx for the time, if u could spare some more I'm looking for a way to have
autentification, is there any how to arround.

Thx,
    rak
