Exactly. So if you take up an idea and it works, or if you take up an
idea and it didn't work but you managed to fix it; or if you have
some clear symptoms to report, which others might help you to resolve,
then report it on the list, so everyone else can benefit (or share in
the pain ;-)
If you just want to thank an individual, but you've got nothing to say
that would help others, then keep it to private mail, would be my
advice.
