[Exim] local_scan problems pt.2

Further to my request that local_scan crashes be permitted to "be accepted"..

I see the following message in my logs:
local_scan() function crashed with signal 11 - message temporarily rejected

I find signal 11 definition ambiguous.
I'm on FreeBSD.

is signal 11: Resource temporarily unavailable
or
            : segmentation violation

if it's a segfault then my routine is failing... but if it's a resource
shortage perhaps I can raise some limits. (I open a couple of files at
each instance.)

any suggestions would be appreciated. TIA  Jim
