|
| You are running some braindead virus-scanner on your machine:-
| 220-InterScan Version 3.7-Build_SOL_1070 $Date: 04/25/2002

11:54:0013$: Ready
|
 | the virus-scanner is proxying the mail into exim so that it
 | sees all connections coming in from the loopback address -
 | 127.0.0.1. That means the standard configure settings:-
 |      hostlist relay_from_hosts = 127.0.0.1
 | and
 |       accept hosts = +relay_from_hosts

|
| make you absolutely wide open.

|
| You cannot do any form of sending host checks because your
| virus scanner eats that information.

What might help in your situation is to completely disable
relay_from_hosts and switch your clients to something like
SMTP-Auth.

regards,
Tom
