All around the world, I can hear thousands of email sysadmins groaning at the
fallout from Verisign's actions. Exim-users suddenly find that sender
verification no longer works. Arghhhh!
Interestingly, what I did not know is that the zones for .cc, .cx, .io, .mp,
.museum, .nu, .ph, .td, .tk, .tv, and .ws support wildcard functionality.
Anyone got any more additions?
What changes are other exim-users doing to counteract this? It's ironic, but I
am just in the mood now to use this to tighten my ACL's somewhat. I've been
meaning to do this for some time now, and Verisign may well give me a
reasonable excuse as to why I might insist on a valid rDNS on the HELO
greeting, etc.
