biased towards web administration, popular, may have some scaling issues,
but fine for small-to-medium lists. integration with exim is well understood.

joined at the hip with qmail. great if you're running qmail, but this is an
exim list.

stock installation doesn't have web admin, biased towards email admin, long
in the tooth. i know it well and use it, but i tend to recommend against
new installations.

majordomo 2 exists, and is basically a new piece of software. i've looked
at it but not made the jump.

also, there's exilist, which is still very young, but has some promise.
