Subject: [Exim] exim as mailfilter-smarthost
Hello all,

I request you help for the following problem I'm working on. Thanks in
advance for your tips! :)

" Internet -> mx.mailfilter -> mx.domain1 "
" Internet -> mx.mailfilter -> mx.domain2 "

I want to have several domains with lowest-numberd MX pointing to
"mx.mailfilter". At mx.mailfilter there is an exim MTA filtering the mail
through several spam- and virusfilters.

My problem now is, how can I configure exim, to send the mail to the
correct "real" mailservers. [remote_smtp looks up the mx's through DNS, but
as the mailfilter-server _is_ the lowest-numberd MX and I want the mails to
travel to other servers, I want to define the target hosts manually for all
the domains]

Is it possible to have a list like

"
domain1.com:mx.domain1.com
domain2.com:mailserver.domain2.com
...
"

or any other kind of (local) database or something, to configure the target
host for sending the mail to?

I think, some kind of local DNS-server would also be a solution, but maybe
not a very easy one.

Thank you very much for your ideas.
