I have clamd set up and running as a daemon.
I have tried on a network port and with a local socket.
My scanning options are as suggested by the spec file:
av_scanner = clamd:127.0.0.1 3310
(or with socket - changed to correspond)
My exim.conf settings are also as suggested:
deny message = This message contains malware ($malware_name)
demime = *
malware = *
I get the following error message:
2003-08-21 16:00:30 19pqvO-0004SR-PI malware acl condition: clamd:
ClamAV returned /var/spool/exim/scan/19pqvO-0004SR-PI: Can't access the

I have ensured that clamav user can access the scan directory; however
there are no files created within it.
Does anyone have a similar experience or any suggestions to make this work?
Kind regards
Xander
