If you like to fiddle, that's fine. But if you come unstuck fiddling,
my advice is to try the port before asking for help here.

Then you can look at what the port does differently, and still end up
understanding "exactly what it's doing". And the FreeBSD user community
does its bit to reduce the load on the exim-users mailing list. ;-)
