I have just tested a very similar transport (not identical, but I did
use $sender_address_local_part, and it worked for me, batching multiple
addresses in multiple domains.
So, why isn't it working for you? The way to find out would be to run a
delivery to multiple addresses in multiple domains with debugging turned
on (the -d flag). The output that gets written to stderr should show
what is happening.
