[Exim] main option "local_domains" unknown

I just installed exim, from RPM exim-4.20-1rph, and made eximconfig.
Starting the script in /etc/init.d, I get this:

Starting exim: 2003-07-11 13:38:01 Exim configuration error in line 43:
main option "local_domains" unknown

in /etc/exim.conf, I see the line incriminated as
local_domains = localhost:ien.it

Trying to comment it out to debug the problem, that's the next line to give
problems...
Starting exim: 2003-07-11 13:38:10 Exim configuration error in line 47:
main option "local_domains_include_host" unknown


any idea on this????
