Shouldn't folks running SMTP mailers be able to do at least the basics
of DNS and TCP/IP testing and diagnostics for themselves?

If you poke around a bit I'm sure you'll be able to find out for
yourself that ns1-relays.osirusoft.com and ns2-relays.osirusoft.com, as
well as at least also www.osirusoft.com, are suffering from what appears
to be a lot of packet loss, and/or severe conjestion. Anyone who's been
on the 'net for more than a few months will guess this probably means
they're suffering under severe Denial of Service attack. Tools like
'mtr' (or just plain traceroute with the right options) can even show
this visually by demonstrating packet loss in the logical routing hops
immediately preceding the final destination.
