[Exim] mail delivery problems

When I try sending mail to some hosts out there I get these errors.

connection: host mailhost.***.com [***]: 220 ***.com ESMTP Sendmail

from remote mailer after initial connection: host mailhost.***.com [***]: 220
***.com ESMTP Sendmail 8.11.6+Sun/8.11.6; Wed, 18 Jun 2003 18:20:57 -0400
(EDT)

In the same time this is what comes up in the remote host logs (the guy that I
am sending email to) :

[ID 801593 mail.info] NOQUEUE:
[MY IP IS HERE] did not issue MAIL/EXPN/VRFY/ETRN during connection to
MTA-IPv4

This message will get sent just fine with no errors if I do
exim -v -M message-id

Things that are not problem here are connection (my first guess), and server
load. Both hosts have great connectivity, and low loads. Any ideas ??
