i'm in the midst of what might be the first of several conversions from
mbox to Maildir.
i've looked over the scripts on qmail.org, and i've looked over a number of
exim-users messages i've saved that address the topic. what i have yet to
find is an actual script which converts and correctly recognizes the
Status: RO line in a UW-IMAP mbox and directs the resulting email into
Maildir/new or Maildir/curr as appropriate.
anybody got one? i have found and installed the safecat stuff, and have
procmail/formail installed, so scripts that depend on those pieces are just
fine.
