Nothing to do with Exim. Exim is an MTA responsible for delivery of mail,
its part will be to put mail into directories where your Windows MUA's pick
it up via POP or IMAP.

It is the MUA/POP or MUA/IMAP interaction which is causing the password
requests. One think you can check is to see if Outlook is saving the
password for the **POP** server.
