Author: Kelv Date: To: exim-users Subject: [Exim] Exiscan-acl on user by user basis
Hi,
Apologies to anyone on both exiscan-users and exim-users, as this is a
repost from the former but I've had no response at all on the former :( I
hope someone here can help!
My current setup now uses Exim 4.20 & Exiscan-acl-4.20-08. I want to be
able to allow lookups against a MySQL table to decide on a user by user
basis whether various parts of the ACL happen and what their behaviour is,
e.g. virus scanning is disabled for mailbox fred, but enabled for mailbox
jim, spamassassin / spamd lookups should just tag *SPAM* for bert and
reject for mailbox mavis, fred might want a higher (10.0) spam threshold
than jim (7.0) , and so on.
I don't think the final mailbox name (local_user) is known until the
routers section when aliases are looked up, etc though, so am wondering if
what I am asking is even possible. Should I instead have spamd / SA do
it's own lookups later on, only I don't see how that can affect what
happens in the ACL as it has by then already happened (?) Can you tell I'm
confused by this situation? :)
Also, in Exiscan-acl, what are the equivalents of...
exiscan_demime_pickyness = 1
exiscan_av_action = redirect some@???
exiscan_spamd_header_style = full
exiscan_spamd_subject_tag = *SPAM*
For the last one (subject_tag), I was just placing a warn line in there,
but that's probably not the best way.
I've only been using Exim a couple of weeks so am still at the start of
the learning curve. Help (and maybe some example configs) for the above
would be greatly appreciated!
